Where Our Ingredients Come From

Sprout Organic is built on a plant-based blend that combines organic proteins, carbohydrates, and essential fatty acids. This same clean foundation is used across our Infant and Toddler range. Here’s where those core ingredients begin their journey.

Organic Rice Starch

Origin

Himalayas

Our base is carbohydrate. Grown in the Himalayan region due to its protected ecosystem from pollutants allowing for minimal metals, synthetic pesticides or fertilisers. Our Carbohydrates are gentle on little tummies from birth.

Organic Oil Blend (Coconut Oil · Canola Oil · Sunflower Oil)

Origin

EU, South America, Pacific Islands, China

Manufactured

Australia

A clean and organic fatty acid source free from pollutants and palm oil to support your baby’s energy and development.

Organic Sprouted Rice Protein & Organic Sprouted Pea Protein

Origin

China

A clean and organic fatty acid source free from pollutants and palm oil to support your baby’s energy and development.

DHA (from algae)

Origin

New Zealand

Plant-sourced omega-3 to support healthy brain and eye development. We use algal DHA — not fish oil — because it’s cleaner, more sustainable, and better for babies with sensitivities.

ARA (from fungal source)

Origin

New Zealand

Supports healthy growth and development alongside DHA.

Vitamins & Minerals (25+ essential nutrients — all plant and naturally derived)

Origin

Australia

Every single one validated to FSANZ Standard 2.9.1 by an independent food legal review.

Tested Before It Reaches Your Baby

Every batch of Sprout Organic formula is independently tested before it leaves our facility. We publish the results here — not because we have to, but because we believe you should know.

Our Promise

Sprout Organic was founded by Selasi and Jenna Berdie who believed babies deserved better — cleaner ingredients, full transparency, and nutrition that didn’t ask families to choose between what was safe and what was kind to the planet.

We are the world’s first certified organic, 100% plant-based infant formula. Not the first to make that claim — the first to prove it, with every certification, every test, and now every QR scan.

This page exists because we think transparency shouldn’t be a marketing word. It should be something you can actually read.

From the field to your formula — you deserve to see every step.
