Design the Costume & Dress Up Joey

Get creative! Work together to make Joey's costume using craft materials and classroom supplies.

Scan the QR code included in your Participation Pack and upload a photo of your dressed-up Joey for your chance to win!

What is the Sprout Organic Book Week competition?

It's a fun classroom competition running alongside Children's Book Week 2026 (22–28 August), organised by the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA). Your class purchases a Sprout Organic Book Week Participation Pack, works together to dress up our Joey plush (a kangaroo) as a favourite book character, then submits a photo for a chance to win.

How do I register?

Purchase a Book Week Participation Pack from the Sprout Organic website. To ensure your pack arrives before Book Week, please place your order by 14 August.

Which pack size should I choose?

Choose the pack that matches your class size, so every student gets a bar, a sticker sheet and a colouring sheet.

By when do I need to order to receive my pack in time for Book Week?

We recommend ordering by Friday, 14 August 2026 to allow for shipping before Book Week begins on 22 August. Orders placed after this date may not arrive in time.

What is the deadline to submit our entry?

Entries must be submitted by Monday, 31 August 2026.
